What is icibot In-Stay and what does it include?

icibot In-Stay is the active-stay phase of the guest journey platform. It includes mobile room service, guest messaging, digital concierge, request management, in-stay upselling, activity booking and staff coordination tools. Guests interact via smartphone, PWA, in-room tablet or QR code; staff manage everything from a centralized dashboard and mobile staff app.

Do guests need to download an app to use in-stay features?

No. icibot works as a PWA, web link, in-room tablet interface and native app — you choose what fits your property. QR codes on room keys, tables and signage give instant access without app store friction. Most properties see highest adoption with PWA plus optional native app for loyalty members.

How does in-stay room service compare to phone ordering?

Mobile ordering reduces errors from misheard orders, supports modifiers and allergies clearly, and lets guests order from anywhere on property — pool, beach, rooftop. Kitchen receives structured tickets integrated with your POS where configured. Hotels typically see 2–3× more orders from areas that previously did not call room service.

Can icibot handle housekeeping and maintenance requests?

Yes. Guests submit requests via app with optional photos. Tasks route to housekeeping or engineering with priority flags. Staff update status in real time; guests receive notifications when requests are completed. Managers see open ticket counts and resolution times on the operations dashboard.

Is it hard for staff to adopt the in-stay platform?

The icibotStaff app is designed for frontline teams — large buttons, clear task lists and push notifications. Most properties train staff in one session. Because guests self-serve for routine orders and FAQs, front desk actually handles fewer repetitive calls within the first month.

Does in-stay messaging support WhatsApp and multilingual guests?

Yes. icibot aggregates WhatsApp, SMS, email and in-app chat in one inbox. Auto-translation helps staff respond to international guests confidently. Message templates speed up common replies while keeping your brand voice consistent.

How does in-stay upselling work without annoying guests?

Offers are rule-based and contextual — spa slots on rainy days, restaurant tables on Friday evenings, late checkout on departure morning. Guests opt in with one tap; no hard selling at the desk. Revenue managers control frequency caps and segment targeting.

Does icibot In-Stay integrate with our POS and PMS?

icibot connects to major POS systems for F&B order flow and PMS platforms for folio posting and guest profiles. Open API supports custom integrations. Charges can post to room folio automatically, reducing manual reconciliation for room service and spa.
