What is icibot Post-Stay and why does it matter?

icibot Post-Stay is the post-checkout phase of the guest journey platform. It automates thank-you messages, satisfaction surveys, review requests, loyalty enrollment and rebooking campaigns. It matters because acquiring a new guest costs 5–7× more than retaining one — and post-stay engagement is when guests decide whether to return or recommend your property.

How soon after checkout should feedback surveys be sent?

icibot default timing sends surveys within 2–24 hours of departure when experience is fresh. You can configure delays by property type — resorts may wait until guests return home. Automated reminders boost completion without manual follow-up from your team.

Can Post-Stay help us get more positive online reviews?

Yes. icibot routes promoters (high NPS scorers) to TripAdvisor, Google and Booking review pages while routing detractors to private recovery channels. This smart routing protects your public reputation and gives managers a chance to resolve issues before they go public.

How does repeat booking promotion work?

Post-stay emails include personalized return offers — percentage discounts, package deals or room upgrades for the next visit. Offers link to your direct booking engine with pre-filled guest data. Campaigns can target specific segments: families, anniversary stays, business travelers.

Is guest feedback integrated with our CRM?

Absolutely. Every survey response, NPS score and review status attaches to the guest profile alongside stay history, spend data and preferences. Marketing and guest relations work from one source of truth — no spreadsheet exports.

What if a guest leaves a negative survey response?

Detractor workflows alert duty managers immediately via email or staff app. Templates guide recovery conversations. Resolved issues can be documented on the guest profile so future stays start informed. Many properties turn detractors into promoters with timely personal outreach.

Does Post-Stay work for hotel groups with multiple properties?

Yes. Cross-property campaigns invite guests to sister hotels with targeted offers. Group CRM shows lifetime value across the portfolio. A guest who loved your city hotel can receive a curated offer for your beach resort — all automated.

How do we measure Post-Stay ROI?

icibot dashboards track survey completion, review volume, rebooking conversion, campaign revenue and loyalty enrollment rates. Compare cohorts over time and attribute direct bookings to specific post-stay campaigns. Most hotels see positive ROI within the first quarter.
